Bibliometric analysis of model management in BIM

This bibliometric analysis, an in-depth exploration of "BIM Model Management" has been conducted, delving into diverse tools and technologies aimed at enhancing efficient model management in BIM projects, particularly focusing on collaborative software and platforms. The literature review was carried out across Scopus, akin to ScienceDirect and Google Scholar, utilizing specific terms to encompass pertinent studies. Furthermore, articles, books, and conferences addressing BIM Model Management were pinpointed. The findings underscore its growing significance in the construction and engineering sector due to BIM's widespread adoption. These scrutinized tools commonly augment team productivity and collaboration, as evidenced by successful implementation case studies showcasing their impact on project efficiency. Co-authorship and network analysis unveil the ever-evolving, interdisciplinary nature of this research. To sum up, this bibliometric analysis offers a comprehensive snapshot of the ongoing BIM Model Management research landscape, proving invaluable for professionals and scholars seeking to optimize projects through BIM technologies and establishing a foundation for future research and advancements in this ever-progressing field.
